Okay...Who wants the first Mojito?
It always amazes me how people act around sports stars, actors and entertainers. Some people have trouble breathing...some just black out....my subject today is who have you seen and how did you react? I'll run down a list of my star sightings....(don't laugh at how i did..please..lol):
Olympic champion Edwin Moses: We worked in the same plaza building, i saw him reading a newspaper...wasn't nervous...spoke with respect "How you doing, sir?" He did speak but i guess i was getting on his nerves...
Father of JonBenet Ramsay: He also worked in my building...didn't want to speak to him...(i just got a strange suspicion they know what happened to their child..that's just me)...
Chili from TLC (R&B group): I saw her in Lenox mall... she saw me, i turned my head the other way....i was trying to be a HOGG!!!! my crazy azz...she was/is a cutie, i probably should've spoke but whatever...
Eddie Levert (O'Jays): I'm about 94-97% that was him in Lenox mall...he had a green outfit w/gators to match....all i can do was lol....go head Eddie!!
Whitman Mayo (Sanford & Son..."Grady"): I saw him too at Lenox mall....Why did my dumb azz say "Hey Grady"...should've showed respect...."Hey, Mr.Grady".....one of my life's biggest regret...i know it's not a big deal, but that's just how i am....
Cee-lo (Gnarls Barkley lead singer): I'm posted up at Club Kaya (now it's called Visions), i got a good spot too....i'm in the hallway...the ladies got to walk by me to get to the dance floor...i'm pickin' 'em apart too....every 3rd chick that looked good...."Hey baby, What's the dwizzle?"...that's the icebreaker there...after i finished holl'ern at a chick...i'm trying to go back to my spot...i look up...it's like a big azz wide azz dude in front of me...i'm like "Who the fukk?"...oh then i see it's Cee-lo...that dude is wide azz hell...i'm like damn...so i move to another spot...then i see Usher and some 5'2" chick go to the dance floor.....it was crazy that night....
I'm off today...me &lil'sarccastik is watching the Sprout channel...(those with kids, nephews, cousins young now what i'm talkin' bout)....I dropped the 2 weeks on them Wednesday...boy was they sick....."Oh man don't do this too me"....i'm like whatever....Wifey is having a Scrapbooking party....i'm trying to make some Mojitos...pray for me ya'll.....Have a good weekend!!!!!

I got "booked" by Genuwine in the mall when I worked at Foot Locker back when I was 18. That's the most interesting celeb story I got. LOL!

Let's see. For some reason I have met alot of celebrities, some too is because of my job. For instance, Jesse Jackson, Jackie Joiner, Flo-Jo, Leontyne Price, Lil' Bo Wow, Earl Graves (Black Enterprise) Cynthia McKinney (I believe that is how you spell her name. She actually walked up to me in a restaurant in Washington, DC and asked me who I was. Said I looked important. That was funny..
I enjoyed meeting Kim Coles out of everyone. I went to her book signing and she actually begged me and my cousin to stay with her. We were joking and laughing with her from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. I told her, girl we have to go. I gotta work tomorrow. We hugged and she told me she had a ball with us. I have met others but these just made a good impression to me. One thing though, the only person I actually got stupid on was Michael Jackson when I was 12. I pulled his hair. I have pictures with most of them except Bo Wow. I stepped back and let my daughter enjoy that opportunity.
Ha a mojito and it ripped me up! Lawd! Hope the scrapbooking party goes well...

I see a lot of celebrities out here in the Beverly Center. I wouldn't go as far as saying you get used to it. I am more of an observer, anyway, so I usually just check them out to see what they are doing.
My friend, though, she runs up to them like he's Davey Jones and she's Marcia Brady. She screams and asks for different autographs and stuff.

My dad was/is a musician and toured with lots of people. I have a picture of me sitting at the piano at our house in L.A. (I was about 5) with George Benson standing over me playing. Donny Hathaway came over to visit, came in the house, lit a joint and my mother promptly asked him to "take it outside." Larry Carlton (a jazz guitarist, who wrote the "Hill Street Blues" and "Who's the Boss" theme songs. I've been to his house lots of times (back in the day). I was going to meet Olivia Newton-John and even got backstage, but she left to go back to the hotel to rest after the concert. There are probably more, but I can't think of any others.

Tyrese called me on the phone, NO BS!!!! My bestfriend is an aspiring singer and i always used to tease and tell her when she saw Tyrese to tell him to call me. WELL, she DID see him and she DID TELL HIM TO CALL MEand so there i was with Tyrese on the other end and i told him "thanks for calling" I WAS ACTUALLY ONA DATE WHEN HE CALLED..lol
I've seen many other celebs but the one next to Tyrese that sticks out the most in my mind has to be LIL Kim. she is the sweetest person ever. This was PRE-all the CRAZY surgeries and when she was promoting the Notorious K.I.M. album before it dropped.
pass me a mojito!! i saw the dad from fresh prince in the airport in charlotte but he was on one of those golf cart things so i didn't say anything.
i met nikki giovanni. she was really cool and i didn't act weird.
met omar tyree. wasn't acting weird, he was ok. pretty nice.
I saw Elgin Lumpkin aka Ginuwine at a drugstore buying q-tips. He was cute but I didn't realize it was him until a White girl came up and asked me if he spoke to me! Um no, he was too busy thinkin' about cleanin' his ears I guess.
