I drive about 1hr 10 mins each way, so ya'll can understand my vent. My boy (midfield mark) called me saturday night to get out....the misses was like go 'head, have fun.....but i was thinkin'...i got to drive from stone mountain to camp creek parkway...damn that's about 25-30 min ride....and the way gas is now....sheeeeee...."Naw, dude I'm chillin'"...that's what i told midfield mark....that's my boy but i can't fukk w/ it right now. Remember the days when gas was .79/gallon, dude my car (green hornet...you gotta nickname your whoo ride...it gives it personality) cavalier...anytime my car got down to half a tank....i was like "Sheeeeee...I need some gas", i would get the premium then...that was the gold ol' days i think it was '99. Damn i miss those days....

I got a question for ya'll, What was ya'll most recognizable car? it can be your first car or your hooptie at college. Mine was a 1983 nissan stanza hback...silver..(damn i miss the silver ghost)...everybody knew it was mine because i had a alabama national guard tag......i couldn't do not creepin'.....why is it girls would sit out the window and just catch folks creepin.....

Nosey girl (in front of her friend that i'm trying to stab): "Sarccastik, I saw you last night (laughin)"....
Sarccastik: "No you didn't....(thinkin' like what the hell are you talkin' bout...damn did i get caught again")
Nosey girl: Yes i did, you picked up Tanya from Birmingham (laughing)
Sarccastik: I don't know what you talkin' bout...i let me roomate borrow the silver ghost...i was at the house....(i'm thinking...as snoop said, "I'm too swift i'm on my toes, to get caught up w/ you hoes...)
Nosey girl: Hmmm hmm...i thank you lying.....
i'm like damn....sheeeeee....i thought it was hard for a pimp back in '93.....tell me about your first creepin' hoo ride.....

:::reminiscing:::

Mine was a 97 Hyundai Accent. 2dr. Hatchback. Light green. Ugly little thing but I STILL have emotional attachment to it.

*sigh*

I miss that car. His name was T-Boss. Dont ask me why. It just was. The transmission died and I had to get rid of him.

::moment of silence for T-Boss::

I have had many memorable cars!

1. "big red" red 89 Chevrolet cavalier 4 door with white wall tires; stolen from in front of my house.

2. "the g ride" blue 91 honda accord 4 door with the flip up lights, given to me by a radio station, totalled by some asian man.

3. "Prince" grey 92 geo prism 4 door, engine went out three days past the 6 month warranty.

4. "Goo-Goo" white 84 volkswagen rabbit 4 door that turned off when you turned right. sold to my uncle.

5. "the Fo' Fo" red 2000 Ford focus that had 1,000,000 recalls. Got impounded cause I didn't pay my registration or parking tickets.

6. "Dirt rock" sawdust 89 toyota corrolla 4 door that I brought for $750, stolen by my bestfriends sister.

7. "Maxi" my current 1991 baby blue nissan Maxima 4 door...it ticks when I turn it off.

Damn! Gas in the ATL off the hook? Whenever I wentto the ATL is was always the cheapest gas! I remember gas being $0.79. Those were the days... I used to fill up my 1989 Delta 88 with that $0.79 gas. I miss that car!

12:18 PM

Yes Cool, it's crazy down here. It's currently at *2.89 and up. My first car was a 1989 Plymouth Sundance. I called it the brown hornet..aka Diamond. My sister said that I should call it Diamond because it was more a Fred than anything...lol. I had that car for four years..lol. I cried when I had to get rid of the raggedy thing..lol.

ahh, we used to stay on Camp Creek Pkwy like 15 years ago.

Anyway my most recognizable car were the ones with the out of state plates.

I was JUST talking about 99 cent gas today. But it's not like that was 50 years ago, that was just about 5-6 years ago.

2:15 PM

THE MIlKmobile....aka MILKY 1991 HOnda Accord......Everybody had one so I didnt get into much trouble...and the car I have now but it didnt even last long for me to creep in

2:37 PM

I have never really been the creeping type. But one of my first cars the "Death Trap" had the drivers side door wielded shut, and the muffler would always fall off. Any dude on the street would get under there and put it back on for me...HA! They really felt bad!
Almost died in that car...well okay actually I was thrown from it when the brakes went out....YEP! My fault. Holla!

2:56 PM

"I don't know what you talkin' bout...i let me roomate borrow the silver ghost"

Man, why did that sound like one of the excuses my ex used to pull when his car was spotted on campus by some chicks dorm??!! I was cracking up when I read that!

3:05 PM

Aww. . .

You got me thinking about my cars. now.

My first car was a 1981 Toyota Cressida. Bought it in 1989. Don't sleep on it this was the bomb car, yo. It had auto seatbelts and a sunroof. Everybody knew I was coming in it because I was always playing Guy, En Vogue, or Karyn White in it! I miss my Cressida!

The second car I had was a Dodge Daytona. Everyone used to call it the "Hunter" car from the TV show. I had a bra on it and tinted windows. You couldn't tell me sheeat in that car. I had two stickers on it. One was "I is a college student" and "everybody is entitled to My opinion"

Aaah, the good ole dayz.

Same old story here in my part of the world-gas prices off the wall

3:48 PM

*raises hand* I had a car with a stuck door too!

3:50 PM

Mine was "Bessie" - an electric blue Ford Escort...*sigh*...she was good to me - LOL!

12:10 AM

im so happy i live in nyc and i dont have to drive

9:24 AM

1. 81' D-12 Datsun Wagon "G.I. Joe Mobile". It was white, but needed a paint job (grey splotches everywhere). Everyone knew who I was (my high school car). I hated that car! I had to take 20 minute, round the way route to school 'cause it couldn't make the hills faster than 10mph. Ugh! It had two cylinders. What a piece of junk!

2. Pink '93 Geo Storm - "Miss Kitty" a nice step up from what I had, but everyone knew who I was, again. It was my mother's car and she gave it to me before she moved to Utah. So, not only was my car fuschia, it had Utah plates...no creeping without getting caught in this car. Luckily, I had a man by then and I was only creeping with him.

10:03 AM

ok since I've never had a hooptie or sorts...I do remember when I first started driving, gas was like .03 a gallon. But just think Sarc, I gotta drive from damn near Locust Grove to Atlanta anytime I wanna hang out. That's an automatic 35 miles there and back just to the city limits...so it better be a hell of an outing if I'm leaving Henry County for anything...

10:31 AM

Never had a hooptie..

My first car was a Toyota Paseo...it was brand new. I got it for my 16th b-day...I loved that car. I only had it for two years because I got a new Honda Accord for graduation. Those were the days in more ways than one...My dad payed for the cars and the gas! I miss those days so much!

10:55 AM

A 96 blue chevy lumina.... I called her big blue

1:24 PM

i had an 89 Volkswagon fox that was like a rusty faded orange/red 5 speed manual shift! 'twas the fastest thing on the road to be back then!

I used to call her red fox. loved the mess out that car! she carried be all the way to 219,000 miles and some change before she conked out on me.

1:59 PM

I got to drive my dad's navy blue 1984 navy blue Cougar with the malfunctioning catalytic converter. I'd have people in the middle of suburbia ducking thinking someone was shooting off rounds. And of course there was the thick black smoke after it backfired...

3:47 PM

Mine was a $700 car I bought form a neighbor after my 2003 Saturn was reposessed.
A 1993 Geo Storm I affectionately called, "The shitter."
thanks for stopping by.

4:22 PM

Dag all those cars Jenny wrote about! All my cars were new but my husband had a brown I don't know what little hoopty. I never saw it when we were dating he would rent cars to take me out!! LOL! Until some side Ho Chic he was messin with before we got serious, found out about me and busted out all his windows.. broke his hoopty down to scraps in the parking lot!! They had to scoop up the pieces and just throw them away. Nothing to tow!!

10:03 PM

my most memorable car was the Bonneville Brougham that belonged to my grandfather in which he never gave me when I got old enough to drive...I wanted that muthafucka so bad.

12:17 AM

Sigh...79 Chevy Malibu! My grandma brought it when it was brand new...then my mom had it...I had it for a little while. Everyone in the hood and at my highschool knew the "Green Machine"!

7:53 AM

Gas is killing us all man!

I am still on my first car. Dark green 98 Honda Civic sedan.

8:29 AM

99 Maroon Mirage...SEnior year of High School. Awww those where they days.

12:05 PM

1993 Buick Riviera, handed down by my father. It was great in college b/c we could pack 6-7 people in it. I ran that car into the ground. It had over 267,000 miles on it the last day I drove it. That car served me well.

3:26 PM

We had a gas station here today sell gas for $2 for a few hours. You wanna talk about a crazy scene?!?!?! It was so packed and people were waiting for ever for that gas. I can’t say I really blame them though, especially if they travel as many miles as you do daily.

9:15 PM

mine was called 'blue thunda'...a navy blue '85 golf i ended up abandoning cuz my brother had run the damn thing into the ground! i miss her...:(
