Quick Quips by Lil'Sarccastik

These are some of my top 5 favorite little quips that my 2yr old say on a daily basis....it's even cuter if you get to see and hear what she says....

1) Dada, ydouslfsiufslfksofus go Kroger to buy me hot chocolate? (That's not a typo, she's trying to mesh her words together)

2) Dada, GREEN MEANS GO!!!!

3) Dada, does your head hurt? Sometimes, I get the headache and she plays doctor. She says, "Dada, Open mouth...hmm...you got a fever"..hmm let's see she says, "Let me feel your head...hmmm you got a fever."...It's got to be the cutest thing on earth when she's playing doctor.

4) When I'm giving her a bath...she says, "Dada, did you take a shower?" I'll say yes, she says "Lift your arms...(sniff sniff) Like a bed of rothez" she's trying to say roses.

5) We are working on shapes and colors, I cut out a triangle. She goes throughout the house, "See mommy, a triangle has three sides and three corners". When they say that having a baby changes you believe it.

Those are just some of the quips she says, as she continues to grow it's amazing the information she retains. She knows her birthday, my birthday, wifey's birthday, her aunt and uncle birthday. Everyday I wake up and pray and say "Thank you lord for my beautiful wife and my beautiful child..thank you".

My family gives me that extra motivation to continue on the grind. What gives you motivation?

Like you my child and fam, also imagining that light at the end of the tunnel helps too!

AWWW that is too cute. I crack up when my nephew learns new things and he's three. It seems like everyday I talk to him I realize just how fast they grow up. I love to hear him sing his ABC and he even knows the books of the bible...what motivates me is wanting more for my family and child than what my biological mother could provide...

OHMYGOD that is so beautiful. She sounds precious. Stories like this make me want to have a child and then I blink and I am like....HELLS NAH!!! LOL!! But I really was moved by this...she sounds like an absolute dollbaby!

9:21 AM

She sounds adorable. your a good Dada.

And u see thats exactly why I think fatherhood is sexy...its even cuter when the kids are cuter and not worsesome like some of these little crumbsnatchers running round here....

10:15 AM

I have NO idea what I would do with out my family. My kids are my life and I couldn't imagine life without them. It's great to see a man so dedicated to his family. Very cute post.

what the hell is #1??? lol

lmao @ #4... i think i would def crack up if my child did that to me...

This is so special. All children should have a father as loving as you. My daughter did the same thing. I remember when she was 2 and we passed by a big beautiful colorful tree and she said that is fabulous. I almost cried. She said it perfectly. When I comment and told her I was proud, the questions started, how do you get to heaven? How does God stayed up in the sky? The funniest was when I caught her in the bathroom trying to pee out of her navel. Oh those wonderful days. Enjoy them- they grow up fast.

Well it sounds like your 2 year old is on a role honey. Cuz my 2 year old SCREAMS in a highly pitched opera like glass breakin soprano in order to get her needs met. Then laughs and says "uh-oh" when you give her the naughty look.

6:27 PM

I'm sure she is so adorable.

Maybe one day I'll have a little Drea or Dre to run behind.

7:13 PM

Adorable! I don't have kids, but my nephews keep me going :-)

11:08 AM

The same for me; my hubby and my girls are my life and push me to be the best mama I can be. Right now, the youngest (9 months old) says, "Daden...daden" trying hard to say daddy. Mama is as clear as a bell. Love those milestones!

11:41 AM

How darling...there is nothing like the love that a man has for his daugter! You are truly blessed and it's wonderful that you realize that.

To be honest, motivation has been trying to play hide & seek with me lately. However, getting back to the me I used to be has been my motivation as of late.

12:40 PM

a loving black family. gives me goose bumps. If no one else does...I appreciate you for being that black man you are. I wish I had a dadda when I was growing up.
Holla!

4:41 PM

yeah I loves kids..don't have any but my niece and nephew I talk about like my own...

my niece is 4 so the funniest things she says is when she tells me "your not the boss of me"..lol... (wait til you lil one says that)...

whenever we all get in the car she says "buckle up, so we can be safe" and yes we all buckle up for her...

or when she imitates her dada...funny cause she sound just like him. yeah I think I could talk about her forever but let me stop..as for my nephew...just born so he is kind of boring as all he does is sleep currently...I didn't even give birth but man I love those babies.

6:18 PM

I was THE SAME way with my dad when I was little. Still am in many ways.

Family keeps me motivated but mostly I keep myself motivated.

Ambition is a beautiful thing.

Treasure and cherish every moment as they grow so fast. Before you know it you are sending them off to college and ur left standing around the house with this blank stare on your face (oops, my bad I'm talkin about meself now, lol). I find being a good daddy one of the most appealing qualities of a man, also not being afraid to roll around on the floor and "ack" like a fool (they have a way of making you do that). That is the best when it comes to our precious little ones.

9:28 AM

awwwwwwwwwwwwww! i don't know what motivates me. that's a problem huh? i guess getting the f outta pittsburgh.

9:31 PM

Too cute!

9:12 PM

That's a beautiful thing...i don't have any kids, but I am an Auntie...and my 2 1/2 year old nephew never stops amazing me! So I know the feeling...

10:14 AM

She sounds absolutely adorable.
With all the bad press that brothers get as a family man, you make me proud.
